A new waterfront dining experience is coming to North Myrtle Beach, at the site of a recently closed Mexican restaurant.
La Perla on the Marsh, a new Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant, started holding open interviews for various staff positions on Thursday morning, according to Facebook posts on the restaurant’s new page. The restaurant will open in the space formerly occupied by Roca Roja Cantina, located at 806 Sea Mountain Highway. The cantina announced on Friday that it had closed to pursue a new, undisclosed project.
Roca Roja was known not only for its ambience and Mexican fare, but also as the venue for Drag Brunch on the Marsh on Sundays, featuring drag performers from near and far.
Now, according to a Facebook post by Drag Brunch hostess and co-producer Sara Dazie, the familiar faces of Drag Brunch are the restaurant’s new owners, and the community can expect the drag shows to continue…
