Old Dominion dominates Coastal Carolina as the Chanticleers fall 47-7

NORFOLK, VA (WBTW) – Coastal Carolina (2-4, 1-1 Sun Belt) went on the road in week five to face a strong Old Dominion (4-1, 1-0 Sun Belt) team, which already has wins over Virginia Tech and Liberty on the year.

The Monarchs handled business at home, defeating the Chanticleers 47-7.

CCU’s defense gave up 619 yards of total offense to ODU, while the Chanticleers’ offense was only able to produce 189 yards of their own. Coastal Carolina didn’t find the endzone until the fourth quarter, when quarterback Tad Hudson connected with wideout Cameron Wright on a 3-yard pass…
