Fire crews are responding to a shrimp boat fire Monday off the coast of Cherry Grove beach in North Myrtle Beach.
North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue is helping rescue crew members from the boat, towing them back to shore, according to North Myrtle Beach Fire Chief Billy Floyd. It appears the fire happened a little after 4 p.m.
Horry County Fire Rescue, along with the U.S. Coast Guard, is on its way to the boat to put out the flames, Floyd said.
