Six people arrested following drug bust in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — Six people have been arrested following a months-long drug investigation that led to the seizure of more than 38 pounds of marijuana and hundreds of THC products, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

The department’s Street Crimes Unit, working with the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED), charged the following individuals with trafficking marijuana: Avi Tal, 52; Garrett Johns, 37; Kyle Johnson, 23; Michael Garon, 36; and Netta Atar, 37, all of Myrtle Beach, and Jordan Hewett, 21, of Calabash, N.C.
