Latest storm Jerry offshore of Carolinas. How will it impact Myrtle Beach area?

It’s been two years since the Myrtle Beach area experienced coastal flooding, but with Tropical Storm Jerry churning offshore the Carolinas, that could change this weekend.

There is a chance for moderate coastal flooding on Thursday and Friday in Myrtle Beach and along the coast, said meteorologist Victoria Oliva with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, North Carolina.
