MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Summer Sands Motel has officially closed, and all residents have moved out after facing dozens of violations from the city.
The South Ocean Boulevard motel, which was first reported on in August, had been cited for structural, sanitation and infestation issues.
It offered long-term rentals for people.
The owner now faces a critical deadline and must submit a repair plan to the city of Myrtle Beach this week…
