The 46th Annual Loris Bog-Off Festival brought nearly 40,000 people from far and wide to enjoy six city blocks of chicken bog, vendors, contests and more in downtown Loris on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The chicken bog contest participants began cooking at 9 a.m., about 16 quarts of chicken bog each, with minimal preparation allowed before arriving at the event.
