CONWAY, S.C. (WBTW) — The city of Conway issued a ban on outdoor burning Thursday morning, citing an “extreme fire danger from low humidity.”
The ban, which is effective immediately, comes a day after the South Carolina Forestry Commission said residents should use “extreme caution” during outdoor burning because dry air and increased winds were forecast to impact fire conditions.
