MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA — A 28-year-old South Carolina man is accused of permanently disfiguring a woman’s face after attacking her with an electric bike battery during a violent confrontation over a missing hoodie.
Authorities say Tajha Soplato Anderson shouted “you’re a liability now” and “you’re going to die” before allegedly smashing the victim’s face and burning her during the assault on Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach.
Violent Assault Over a Hoodie Turns Into a Nightmare
According to arrest warrants obtained by WPDE, the September 18 attack began after the woman confronted Anderson about her missing hoodie, which she believed he had taken.
