Beautiful fall weekend ahead, Melissa becomes stationary

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Another clear, yet cool morning. Temperatures are well into the 40s inland and low-50s at the coast. High temperatures today will be a few degrees lower, but still very comfortable in the upper 60s and low 70s.

It will be cool for high school football. When games kick off around 7 p.m., the beaches will be in the mid-60s, and the Pee Dee will be around 61 degrees. The games will wrap around 11 p.m., and temperatures will fall to the low-50s inland and near 60 at the coast.

The weekend will be sunny, with high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s. There will be a few more clouds and high pressure from the Ohio Valley controlling. On Monday, there will be a couple of scattered showers with a cold front approaching from the west, which will move offshore on Tuesday. We could see a decent amount of rain, but not enough to pose any flood concerns; totals will range from 0.5-1″…
