SOCASTEE, S.C. (WPDE) — Halloween is just days away, and Socastee High School is doing its part to make sure people of all ages are ready for the holiday during a Trunk-or-Treat event on Sunday.
This is the second year Cheer Coach Hannah Sweat has put on this event. They started it last year to help benefit Socastee Head Football Coach Ben Hampton’s son, who was diagnosed with leukemia.
This year, the proceeds will go towards the medical bills for Zoe Knick, who has a rare brain tumor on her pineal gland, and starts radiation treatment on Monday…
