On and off showers continue

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Happy Monday everyone. I hope your day has been good. We have been tracking a coastal low pressure system over the last few days, and today we’ve started to see some rain showers move into the area. No real heavy rain has occurred in the area, but as we go through the evening into the overnight hours, showers will spread in coverage and pick up in intensity. It will be breezy as well. An isolated rumble of thunder near the coast, can’t be ruled out. Lows tonight will fall into the low to mid 50s.

As we head into Tuesday, unsettled weather continues to plaque the area. We will see a chance of on and off showers once again. As we go through the day, temperatures won’t move much as we only mange to break into the upper 50s to low 60s area wide. Rain will be on and off, but as we get into the evening and into Wednesday more, rain again will be more present as a cold front slowly moves through the area. Lows will be in the upper 40s to low 50s.

A cold front sweeps through the area by the end of the week. That will bring sunny and cool conditions to the area…
