Myrtle Beach announces winners of first Halloween home decorating contest

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach officials announced the winners of the city’s first home decorating contest.

Jim and Teresa Wyne of 1242 Prescott Circle took first place with a spooky graveyard display. They say they went all out for Halloween for Jim’s birthday.

David and Hiliary Whitt, along with Archie, of 6304 North Ocean Boulevard, earned second place. Their oceanfront home features a spooky witch and diver display led by a frightening ship captain.

Both winning homes received signs for their front lawns and bragging rights for having the best Halloween decorations in the city…
