Horry County Government has been named one of the ‘Healthiest Employers of South Carolina’ for 2025. The recognition comes from Healthiest Employers, which publishes an annual list of healthy workplaces across the country. Horry County Government ranked 12th in South Carolina and was the only government agency included this year.
Healthiest Employers evaluates organizations based on leadership support, employee needs, and wellness programs. Horry County Government offers several health-related benefits. These include free 24-hour access to a fitness center and a County Wellness Center for medical appointments. These services are available to all county employees.
