HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – For 150 years, Mt Calvery Baptist Church #2 has stood firm in Little River. However, a proposed route for the Highway 31 project could run through the church property, leading many members to express their concerns.
For the last few months, state departments of transportation in both Carolinas have worked on the $125 million Carolina Bays Parkway expansion project, aimed at easing congestion and extending Highway 9 to the state line.
