2 Conway teenagers face kidnapping, robbery charges

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Two Conway teenagers and another unidentified suspect allegedly lured a person inside a home and then robbed them of more than $3,000 in cash late last month, according to an Horry County police report and arrest warrants.

Henry Mekhi Gregg and Lathan Keiju Sarvissteele, both 17, were both booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center Monday evening on two counts of kidnapping, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, online jail records show. They were both given $130,000 bonds and remained in custody as of Wednesday evening.

The alleged robbery took place at about 3 p.m. on Oct. 25 at a home on Fox Tail Pine, the police report said. A victim told police that he was visiting family nearby when one of the suspects invited him to the home. He said he walked there and was “welcomed inside.”…
