Local hospitals limit visitors amid rise in RSV cases

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Grand Strand Medical Center and Mcleod Regional Medical Center have made temporary changes to their visitation policies as doctors report an early rise in cases of respiratory syncytial virus.

Starting this Wednesday at Grand Strand Medical Center, no visitors under the age of 12 are allowed inside the hospital.
