Mythical and Medieval Fest returns to Myrtle Beach for two weekends of historical fun

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The Mythical and Medieval Fest is back for two weekends in Myrtle Beach this year to celebrate its 12th anniversary.

The fest took attendees back in time to the medieval era through a medieval village with food vendors and handmade arts and crafts, a blacksmith, knights on horseback, juggling jesters, and knife and hatchet throwing.

“This is our annual fundraiser that we do for Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams,” said Shellie Rabon, Director of Caleb’s Dragonfly Dreams. “We’re a nonprofit that helps abused and abandoned youth that live in local group homes. So it’s basically a time for people to come out, enjoy themselves, unplug from technology, go back to the medieval era, and have a great time for a good cause.”
