8th grader’s recycled art wins top prize in Horry Co. environmental contest

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — On Tuesday, a North Myrtle Beach Middle School student was awarded for turning trash into treasure and winning a recycled art contest.

Edwin Mendoza, eighth grader, is the grand prize winner of the Horry County Solid Waste Authority’s POP Art Contest.
