Officials said back in late August that The Whistling Duck, a wine & charcuterie bar, and the Surf Diner, which operated on the town’s previous pier, were getting close to opening.
Crews broke ground on the pier in December 2020 to replace the former pier, which was destroyed by Hurricane Matthew, which hit the region in October 2016.
