FIRST ALERT: Near record warmth, a few showers Saturday

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Temperatures will soar to near record levels on Saturday with a few showers possible. Mild weather returns again ahead of Thanksgiving.

THIS WEEKEND

Warmer temperatures continue to kickoff the weekend as a southerly wind pushes near record high temperatures into the area. Temperatures that start in the lower 60s will soar into the middle and upper 70s by the afternoon. These temperatures will be very close to record highs for the day.

As a weak cold front will move through the area late Saturday. Ahead of the front, rounds of clouds and a stray shower will be possible in some areas. Rain chances are only at 30% and plenty of spots will miss out on the showers.

The cold front will push off shore Saturday night bringing an end to the unseasonably warm weather…
