Purdue lands commitment from WR Jojo Johnson, flipping him from Coastal Carolina

Just days ago, Purdue lost a commitment from three-star wide receiver Kymistrii Young, who flipped his pledge to North Carolina. On Sunday, they found his replacement in Richmond (Va.) Benedictine product Jojo Johnson, who was previously committed to Coastal Carolina.

“First off, I want to thank the entire Coastal Carolina football staff for all the support and love they’ve shown me throughout this process,” Johnson noted in a social media post on Sunday. “With that being said, I’m excited to announce that I am flipping my commitment to Purdue University. I can’t wait to get to work and be a part of something special. Thank you for this opportunity.”
