HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A 44-year-old North Myrtle Beach man pleaded guilty to a drug-trafficking charge before the start of a trial on Monday and was sentenced to 13 years in prison, according to the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
The drug-trafficking charges against Isaac McFadden followed a March 2024 traffic stop in which the solicitor’s office said McFadden threw a bag containing between 4 and 14 grams of fentanyl out of the window of the car he was driving. Horry County police later found nearly $13,000 in cash and crack cocaine while searching the vehicle.
McFadden was scheduled to go on trial on Monday but decided to plead guilty before the start of jury selection. Horry County Circuit Court Judge Michael Nettles then sentenced him to 13 years in prison. He is not eligible for parole…
