Lowcountry man jailed on several charges after standoff with Horry County police, report says

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Lowcountry man is facing a slew of charges after allegedly pointing a gun at his wife before a standoff with Horry County police, an incident report shows.

Charles White, 44, of Johns Island, was charged with domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, pointing and presenting a firearm at a person, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, first-degree burglary, unlawful conduct toward a child, and four counts of kidnapping.
