HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A resolution increasing Horry County jurors pay and an agenda item recognizing two longtime Grand Strand mayors were approved at an administration committee meeting Tuesday.
During the Horry County Administration Committee’s meeting, a resolution was approved that would increase jury members’ pay from $15 per day — something that has remained unchanged for 35 years — to $25 per day. It would also increase the mileage reimbursement rate from $.205 per mile to $.342 per mile.
