Very cold and gloomy

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are cold this morning. The coast is above freezing in the low 40s, but the Border Belt is at freezing, with the Pee Dee a touch warmer in the mid-30s. The gray and gloomy weather continues today, with more rain during the morning commute. It will not be a washout today, with coverage of rain only at 40 to 60% of the area. Rain chances will diminish during the early afternoon.

High temperatures will be cold in the mid- and upper 40s. It will be breezy with winds out of the north at 10 to 15 mph. This will push the wind chill to 35 to 40 degrees during most of the day.
