Surfside Beach Town Council on Tuesday, Dec. 9 authorized three speed humps to be installed on 15th Avenue South, a street with a 25 mph speed limit.
Council members Harry Kohlmann and Shawn Fallon co-authored the agenda item to consider installing the speed humps, citing a petition from residents in the 300 block of 15th Avenue South advocating for speed-calming devices.
