(WPDE) — An Extreme Cold Watch is in effect Sunday night into Monday morning for the entire viewing area.
What is an Extreme Cold Watch? Depending on the region, the criteria differ as certain regions see this cold more often than others.
For our area, an extreme cold watch means that “dangerously cold wind chills 5 to 10 degrees are possible.”
This is all due to a very cold Arctic air mass moving into the Carolinas after Sunday. Now we typically see a couple of days like this each year, so it isn’t unprecedented, but still, it will be rough without multiple layers on!…
