Former nonprofit treasurer faces new allegations over botched home remodels

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A man who pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $70K from a Loris nonprofit is now facing new allegations from customers who say he botched their home remodeling projects.

Former Giving Hope Gardens treasurer, Keith Massey, is accused by two couples of taking thousands of dollars for custom cabinets that were either improperly installed or never delivered.

Adam and Lucy Valenti said they paid Massey $22,000 for custom kitchen, bathroom, and laundry cabinets from his business, CabinetWorks in North Myrtle Beach…
