Coastal Ready Mix, a family-owned concrete manufacturer, plans to open a new facility in Horry County, South Carolina. The company will invest $4.6 million in a ready-mix concrete plant on Mount Pisgah Cemetery Road in Conway. The project is expected to create 19 jobs, with operations set to begin in 2026.
The new plant will allow Coastal Ready Mix to serve both local contractors and larger customers. CEO Scott Askins said the company looks forward to expanding into Horry County and supporting its customers.
