MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A man charged in an assault at a Myrtle Beach hotel last week allegedly told the victim “I’m going to kill you” before swinging a knife at him and slashing his hand, according to police records obtained by News13.
Alpheus Cain, 50, was charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Saturday, where he remains as of late Wednesday morning on a $200,000 bond.
