Woman went for pedicure at Myrtle Beach spa. It used contaminated water, suit says

A woman suffered a serious infection in her foot and leg after a Myrtle Beach spa allegedly used contaminated water during her pedicure, a lawsuit claims.

Erin Conn, of Allegheny County in Pennsylvania, visited En Vogue Salon and Day Spa in Myrtle Beach in March 2023 to get a pedicure, according to the suit filed on Dec. 10. While there, the suit claims that staff disregarded her concerns and used contaminated water during the pedicure, after Conn “repeatedly” told them she was diabetic.
