HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Ripley’s Aquarium is temporarily pausing its penguin parades and encounters as officials monitor a local uptick in avian illness.
“This allows our penguins to remain comfortably within their habitat. Guests can still visit and enjoy seeing our penguins in their playhouse, where they remain active and cared for by our dedicated animal care team,” Ripley’s said in a Wednesday Facebook post.
