Turnovers derail ODU in narrow Sun Belt loss to Coastal Carolina

Old Dominion shot and rebounded better than Coastal Carolina but fell 76–74 in a Sun Belt Conference matchup due largely to turnovers and late-game execution issues at Chartway Arena.

Coastal converted 13 ODU turnovers into 18 points and went a perfect 10-for-10 at the free-throw line in the final 2:47. Four Monarch turnovers came in the last 5:53, proving costly in a tightly contested game.
