HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — The longtime director of Horry County’s 911 center is taking over as public safety administrator to replace Randy Webster, officials said Monday.
Renee Hardwick’s new role is “effective immediately,” and comes after a national search. She replaces County Attorney David Jordan, who was serving on an interim basis.
“Miss Hardwick is a pillar of knowledge within Horry County, and she will provide excellent guidance and support to the county’s public safety division,” Horry County Administrator Barry Spivey said. “We appreciate her willingness to serve in this new capacity as the county looks to the future to the meet the needs of the community.”…
