MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The day after Christmas brought an unexpected treat for visitors and locals along the Grand Strand, as unseasonably warm weather lured many to the beaches.
According to Chief Meteorologist Ed Piotrowski, the region experienced one of its top three warmest Christmases on record, with temperatures continuing to delight beachgoers today.
Nahiv Sigik, a beachgoer, expressed his enjoyment of the weather, saying, “It’s pretty. It’s pretty, like, beautiful because I like the weather. It feels nice to play football. I can’t bring my basketball because there’s nowhere to play basketball, but football is fun either way.”…
