HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A man is facing a charge after police say he barricaded himself inside a Horry County home last week.
Officers with the Horry County Police Department arrested Eric Melton, 46, on Tuesday. He was charged with first-degree assault and battery.
The department responded around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday to Wavering Place Loop near Carolina Forest Boulevard for a disturbance.
