HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — The Horry County Sheriff’s Office is remembering Lt. Randy Gerald, as Monday marks 24 years since his death.
On his way home from work at J. Reuben Long Detention Center, Lt. Gerald stopped for what appeared to be a motor vehicle accident on Highway 701 North that was actually a domestic dispute, according to the sheriff’s office.
