MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol will have an increased presence on roadways across the state to deter drunk driving on New Year’s Eve.
“Make sure you have a designated driver. I can promise you every trooper in South Carolina is gonna be in uniform,” said SCHP Cpl. David Jones. “We’re gonna be prepared to take you to jail if you make that poor decision to drive after drinking.”
