Man charged in wrong-way crash in Horry County, troopers say

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A man is out on bond after a wrong-way crash in Horry County left one person hurt, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Jail records show Jose Perez is charged with hit-and-run and driving under suspension. He was also cited for driving on the wrong side of the road.

The charges stem from a Saturday crash that happened around 4:45 a.m. on Highway 378 near Airport Road.
