Myrtle Beach woman uses social media to raise awareness for POTS

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — A woman is on a mission to raise awareness about Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia syndrome (POTS), a rare condition that often goes undiagnosed for years.

Tomika Wheeler, who has lived with POTS her entire life, began experiencing symptoms at age 13, but was not diagnosed until nearly a decade later.
