Myrtle Beach police charge woman after man dragged 130 feet by Tesla during robbery

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A woman is facing a strong-arm robbery charge for her alleged role in a May incident in Myrtle Beach that left a man injured after being dragged more than 100 feet by a Tesla.

Nichole Janelle Martinez, 39, is being held on $200,000 bond at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center following her arrest on Sunday, according to online jail records.

Myrtle Beach police responded on May 19 to the area of Oak Forest Lane and Robert Grissom Parkway, where a person said he was walking south on Oak Forest Lane between Seaboard Street and Robert Grissom when a Tesla pulled beside him.
