‘Fight this battle’: Grand Strand restaurants hesitant of new liquor liability law

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Some Grand Strand bars and restaurants say they’re on the fence about a new law designed to reform liquor liability.

State lawmakers say the new law, which went into effect Jan. 1, aims to reduce excessive liability and address rising insurance costs for businesses.
