Two Jailed After Traffic Stop

Four adults, a child and a Great Dane were in a car with marijuana and crystal meth stopped in Tabor City on New Year’s Eve, police said.

Chasity Pike, 29, and Heliodoro Noyola, 37, were each charged with maintaining a vehicle for drug activities and possession of crystal methamphetamine. Noyola was also charged with resisting an officer and misdemeanor marijuana possession. He was held under a $10,000 secured bond, and Pike was held under$2,500 bond. Pike gave her address in court records as 483 Todd Town Rd., Clarendon. Noyola’s address was listed as 2941 Haynes Lennon Hwy., Chadbourn.

Tabor City Police reported that Noyola was allegedly driving Pike’s Ford Mustang on U.S. 701 Bypass 19 miles per hour above the speed limit just before 9 p.m. The officer checked the tag on the car, and it came back revoked, the report said…
