Myrtle Beach residents voice concerns over nearby homeless encampment

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Residents in the Ramsey Acres neighborhood off Pine Island Road in Myrtle Beach have expressed concerns about a homeless encampment in the area.

One resident, James Henry, said his main concern is the quality of life in the area.

He said garbage from the camps can be seen off the sides of the road, and that with the recent shooting on Dec. 20 off of Pine Island Road, he worries about continued crime and the safety of the neighborhood…
