The Georgetown County Council has approved the third reading, passed by a six-to-one vote, permitting the removal of a proposed kayak launch and the relocation of an amenity center for Magic Oaks.
Bob Anderson, the councilmember representing Pawleys Island, was the sole dissenting vote, expressing concerns about the need for over 3,500 truckloads of dirt to facilitate the changes.
