MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — Cinemark is partnering with Lowe’s to celebrate National Popcorn Day on Sunday and Monday with the “Bring Your Own Bucket ” event.
This is the second year Cinemark is doing the BYOB event, and according to the assistant manager, people take full advantage.
“A lot of the time, we see, like, cookware, large pots, the Lowe’s buckets, which is why we probably got that partnership with Lowe’s,” said Matthew Defreitas, assistant manager at Cinemark Theatres. “And then I think we also get, like, those large plastic Tupperware storage tins that we’ve seen people bring in.”…
