HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – New details about the deadly 2023 shooting road rage shooting on Camp Swamp Road after the release of a witness deposition in the wrongful death case against North Myrtle Beach businesses owner Weldon Boyd.
Frank McMurrough, of Glen Allen, Virginia, was driving by the vehicles of Scott Spivey and Weldon Boyd on Camp Swamp Road as they were stopped on the road on September 9, 2023. In the deposition, McMurrough testified he witnessed Spivey get out of his truck, holding a gun at his side “with the slide back”.
McMurrough also stated he saw Spivey’s arm “come up to an upward position”, stating “his arm barely moved and everything went crazy”…
