‘Pretty disappointing:’ Myrtle Beach sidewalk project sparks concern as crews remove Market Common trees

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — A million-dollar city sidewalk replacement project is underway, but some longtime residents say the changes are coming at a cost to the Market Common area.

Crews are currently in the third phase of an upgrade plan that involves removing roughly 100 trees that officials say is a matter of safety.
