‘Feces and garbage in every room’: Loris woman faces 23 ill treatment of animal charges

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Loris woman is facing almost two dozen ill treatment of animal charges after 21 cats and two dogs were seized from her home where “feces and various piles of garbage” were covering the floor, Horry County Police warrants state.

Anndrea Leigh Oxendine, 36, was arrested on Jan. 13 and released from J. Reuben Long Detention Center the next day on a $11,500 bond, according to online jail records. She faces 23 ill treatment of animal charges.

According to an arrest warrant, a video was given to police by someone who was asked to pet-sit at a home on Highway 66 West. The video showed the house in a “deplorable state,” where the floors in every room were covered in feces and garbage…
